Jet lag

it's kind of.....

Jet lag is an ailment of which is usually occurs in those travelers who span across a time zone or two, the earliest indication that you have jet lag include, fatigue, not being to know when you should go to sleep or stay up in the new time zone, a kind of out of it feeling, being cranky (soaking), headaches, even a brief lack of appetite may occur.

Your internal clock, of which is accustomed to one way of life in your home's time zone, then if when you are going to travel out of your time zone to another one, and then it will get all disharmonized until you have gotten proper rest and become adjusted to the new time zone. This will slowly ebb away, with each time you travel across the world, and go from one time zone to another.

Ways to lessen the effects of Jet Lag

One of the last chances of fighting back against jet lag is something called, melatonin, which is hormone that naturally develops in the human body, and directs body movements, and is able to purchased in most shops of which sell these type of homeopathic method of care/treatment. However, as with all form of medicine and treatments, it does have certain side effects. Also, it has not been completely researched for what the potential side-effects may be. Thus, no doctor can or will make you a prescription for this.

As we grow older, jet lag seems to have a stronger impact upon us, and is worse when traveling from west to east and vice versa. On the bright side, there is always a way to counteract it.

-Upon boarding the plane, you may go ahead and adjust your watch to match the time of the place you will arriving. This will help you in knowing when to sleep and when to stay awake, and when to eat properly.

-You can alleviate the possibly of becoming dehydrated by constantly drinking fluids (no alcohol), as this will keep your mouth and throat moist. Any physical tension or ware may/will make your overall recovery take longer.

-After reaching your destination, do whatever you can to stay busy, as to prevent falling to sleep, as it will be better to sleep at the same time as everyone else around you, as oppose to just nodding off to bed, after you arrive at your hotel/hostel.

-Make time for yourself to get over jet lag, thus, you will able to fully enjoy your trip. This can be done by limiting the itinerary of your fist few days of holiday.
