Welcome to the Quest Hotel, one of the earliest Astor Hostels. It's been a favourite with travellers and guidebooks alike for quite a long time now and can accommodate about 100 guests. If you're looking for somewhere you can call home - but also be up for a party - then this is the place for you.
So, why should you choose the Quest?
A friendly intimate atmosphere, it's close to heaps of great attractions like, Hyde Park, Kensington Palace (Princess Diana's old home), Notting Hill, the famous Portobello Market and Whiteley's Shopping and Cinema Complex. The Bayswater area is full of friendly English pubs, cafés and restaurants that keep you busy during the evening. Public transport wise, it can't get much easier with three Underground (Tube/Metro) stations within walking distance (Bayswater/Queensway/Notting Hill Gate) and numerous bus stops, which give you access from all the major airports and railway stations.
Rooms at the Quest mean friendly dorms WITH BRAND NEW BEDS AND LOCKERS!! that range in size from four to eight beds, with a couple of twin rooms thrown in for good measure. Most of the rooms in the Quest has new en-suite facilities. (Shower, toilet and basin) The other toilets and showers - which are cleaned thoroughly every day - are located outside the rooms on every floor.
Great fun for all backpackers, the Quest is perfect for independent backpackers and small student groups.
