SameSun Big White Lodge is the place all your snow dreams come true! This
is a sociable friendly lodge right up a big Canadian mountain. It¡¯s totally ski-
in/ski-out. That bit means you can walk to the back door, strap on your
board and go down a run. And then ski right back to the door at lunchtime.
Now that¡¯s good. We like that bit. You don¡¯t get that at Whistler.

It¡¯s newly renovated - clean and bright with great common areas and a
kitchen that¡¯s plenty big enough for all your supplies and cooking escapades.
It¡¯s got a beautiful hot tub and internet and laundry facilities. We don¡¯t
expect you will want to return to reality, but we know that people sometimes
need to, so SameSun operate a twice-daily shuttle service between the
Kelowna and Big White Lodges.

The lodge is a 2-minute walk to the village where you can shop, start your
ski/snowboard lesson then eat, drink and live it up at night.

The Big White Lodge offers ideal accommodation if you are looking to work a
ski season at a mountain with awesome snow, terrain, nightlife, views, tree-
runs...ahhh must we go on? We can hook you up with a dorm shared

From the Airport - SameSun Big White Shuttle
SameSun offers their own shuttle transportation to Big White daily during the
heart of the ski season (mid-December through until early April). Shuttle
costs are $15 CAN one way and $22 CAN return. The shuttle leaves our
Kelowna location at 7:45 AM and leaves Big White at 4:15 PM from the
lodge. If you arrive in Kelowna after 7:30 AM, spend the night at our
Kelowna location, get all your necessities (grociers, beverages etc) then take
the shuttle up in the morning.

If you need to get to Big White the same day and have missed our shuttle,

You can also take a City Taxi. Costs will range from $100-$150 CAN.

From the Kelowna Greyhound Bus Station
SameSun Backpacker Lodges offers a free shuttle servie from the Kelowna
Greyhound Station to our Kelowna location. When you arrive at the
Greyhound station in Kelowna, call us from the free phone located in the
station main lobby for pick up and we will come and get ya! Then, spend the
night at our Kelowna location, load up and take the shuttle up to Big White in
the morning.

By Car
If driving to Big White, from Kelowna, follow Highway #33 for approximatelty
55 kilometers. Along Highway #33, you will see the sign for Big White Ski
Resort. Turn left onto Big White road and follow for 15 kilometers. Our lodge
is located just above the main village at 7470 Porcupine Road at the base of
the Moguls building.
